New CD Album Releases, 2-2-2010: Nick Jonas, Rob Zombie, Lil Wayne Rob Zombie seems like much more of a personality than any kind of particularly accomplished artist or songwriter. I can't quite remember any of his particular songs, but his new album Hellbilly Deluxe 2 at least has some fun sounding titles. Don't know how much actual TUNE there is to any of them, but I could dig on songs with titles like "Virgin Witch" and "Sick Bubblegum."
Nick Jonas has a solo album, Who I Am. Twelve year old girls among my humble readership are encouraged to send me reviews. Hey, it could be good, or at least minimally competent pop craftsmanship.
Lil Wayne is back this week with Rebirth. This apparently features a heavy rock quotient mixed in to his basic rap.
