New CD Album Releases, 1-12-2010: OK Go, Vampire Weekend, Ringo Starr Still slow on the new releases front a couple of weeks into the new year. There are new releases from a couple of young groups what have made at least one worthwhile song previously. Haven't heard either of them, but OK Go has Of the Blue Colour of the Sky. Vampire Weekend has Contra.
In the sentimental favorites league, Ringo Starr has Y Not. You really shouldn't be expecting too much from the Beatles' drummer 40 odd years on, but the previews sound at least minimally listenable.
