I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

New CD Album Releases, 12-1-2009: Manu Chao, R Kelly The underappreciated Manu Chao have a live package out this week, Baionarena. It has two CDs and a DVD with the complete live French concert from 2008. This cat's pretty rocking and flavorful, and has some catchy songs. If you haven't heard, for one, "La Primavera," then you've been missing out.
R Kelly is back with his ninth album, Untitled. It pretty much sounds like every other R Kelly record I've heard - minus the hooks. Plus, it's particularly actively stupid with the nonstop ridiculously mundane humping lyrics. I'll be waiting for you in the bathroom and such. At some point, it's really beyond even being dirty or sexually explicit, and just sounds more like some Tourette's thing or something. Way the most artistically significant thing this inexplicably popular guy has ever done was inspiring an episode of The Boondocks and, of course, part of the classic "Trapped in the Closet" episode of South Park.
In the Court of the Crimson King, the highly classic debut of King Crimson is getting the deluxe treatment now for the 40th anniversary. Between alternate takes, unreleased songs from the sessions and whatnot, they manage to conjure up a SIX disc set. That's be a bit much even if it was Sgt Frickin' Pepper. No way in hell I'd pop $150 for this, but maybe you can con the local library into buying this so you can get a good listen (and copy).
