----
I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

New Album Releases, 1-15-2008: Ringo Starr, Magnetic Fields, Aretha Franklin New album releases are still a little thin in the new year. The big name new album is Liverpool 8 from good ol' Ringo Starr. It's his first proper album in about half a decade, and his first release on Capitol in 30 years. This album involves the production services of Eurythmic Dave Stewart.
Stephen Merritt dba Magnetic Fields has a new album this week called Distortion.
Aretha Franklin has Beautiful Ballads on RCA. This smells like a compilation album, but the only song title I recognize was "Freeway of Love."
Ladysmith Black Mambazo has an SACD version of Ilembe: Honoring Shaka Zulu from last year.
