----
I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

Night of the Hunter (1955) For whatever combination of reasons, I've been compulsively interested in Robert Mitchum's movie Night of the Hunter for years. If only for my own mental health, I'll eventually try to explain in writing some of what I see in this nightmarish fable.
For starters though, I've just whooped up 500+ images of Night of the Hunter and Robert Mitchum, including co-stars Lillian Gish, Shelley Winters, Peter Graves, Gloria Castilo, Billy Chapin and Sally Jane Bruce. I've got a big general Night of the Hunter section with 160+ images following the first two thirds or so of the film, through the Harper children's arrival at Rachel Cooper's. Then I have detailed galleries for the next three climactic scenes: Ruby and Harry Powell, Harry Powell vs Rachel Cooper, and finally the arrest scene with little John Harper's breakdown. Also, I have a separate general gallery of Robert Mitchum with 100+ images.
