New Album Releases, Week of 4-4-2006 This week we get a fat new Flaming Lips album, At War with the Mystics. Some might call this the follow up to Yoshimi, but I'll call it the follow up to their very best record- though it was but one cut. Either way you look at it, you really need to hear this.
Also promising, Pink has a new joint, I'm Not Dead. Haven't heard the album, but the first single "Stupid Girls" is one of her best couple of songs.
I remain completely befuddled that he's had a viable music career, but Morrissey has a new album, Ringleader of the Tormentors. Personally, I swear to Ayn Rand that I'd rather listen to the Dixie Chicks. Works for him, though.
