I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

40th anniversary Rubber Soul tribute album Razor and Tie records has a tribute record dedicated to new interpretations specifically of the Rubber Soul album on the occasion of its 40th anniversary, this bird has flown due out in October 2005. Probably their biggest name here is Ben Harper, singing "Michelle."
Fluxblog has a cut from the album available for download, "Norweigan Wood" as performed by an outfit called The Fiery Furnaces. Cool band name. Really, they pretty much ruin the song, but they ruin it in an interesting electronic manner. Beatles fans should give this at least a quick listen.
Hearing even minor new twists on major classic songs can be highly interesting. Thus I tend to be interested in Beatle tribute albums, even by unknown groups. I particularly appreciate a narrowly focused project like this, focused on one album. This gets in to focusing on the less covered and worked over songs. On that basis, I'd dig hearing what the Cowboy Junkies have done with "Run For Your Life."
