COMMENTS: Jerry Reed sure is pretty damned funky for a white boy, especially for a country singer. Jerry gets loose here, starting with that jangling electric rhythm guitar that grabs you right from the start. Then the funky drummer starts riding that cymbal across the top and the toms across the bottom. By the time the chorus comes along and the tambourine kicks in, I'm thinking the Red Hot Chili Peppers can kiss his backwoods ass.

The lyrics are a redneck comedy, telling the story of what started out as a great back alley crap game - until Officer Friendly showed up. It sounds like this crazy hillbilly sumbitch has more fun getting busted and having his ass thrown in jail than most people do getting laid. I've got  to party with this old boy.
