New CD Album Releases, 10-6-2009: Toby Keith, Betty Davis, Roseanne Cash American Ride is the 13th album by Toby Keith. Little bits I'm hearing sound half decent, but nothing that jumps out as being in the league with the angry American.
Betty Davis was Miles Davis' wife for about a year, which was long enough for her to turn him inside out and inspire Bitch's Brew and thus the entire jazz fusion movement. She was also a pretty fair musician in her own rite. A couple of her albums are being re-released this week on Light in the Attic records.
