----
I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

New CD Album Releases, 10-20-2009: Lyle Lovett, Timothy B. Schmit, Tim McGraw Ever lovin' Lyle Lovett is back this week with Natural Forces. Notably, he seems to have made a relatively stripped down sound, taking leave of his Large Band approach. He seems to be in a fairly playful mood, what with Farmer Brown choking his chicken and speculating about a lover whom he suspects of cheating with the condiments and admonishes to keep it in their "Pantry."
Eagle Timothy B Schmit has an album Expando. What I've heard doesn't sound particularly distinctive in any way. But this is as close to an Eagles album you're getting anytime soon, if you are one of the many who still care about such things. It can't be any worse than that last crappy Eagles studio album.
Also, Tim McGraw is back with Southern Voice. I know he's sold a buttload of records, but danged if I could tell you a single song. Anyway, he's a country singer - that one that wears the cowboy hat, I think.
