I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

Del McCoury, Joan Jett - New Album Releases, Week of 6-13-2006
Most promising sounding new album this week comes from Del McCoury, with The Promised Land. It strikes me slightly odd that only 40ish years into his career is he getting around to a gospel album. I don't recognize any of the song titles, so it's certainly not just the usual standards.
Joan Jett is of course a notorious Sinner, as she confirms in her first new album in over a decade, apparently publicly copping to long presumed varieties of sin in "A.C.D.C." among others. Brother Zach seemed to like Sinner pretty good.
There's a sweet looking 66 track 3 CD box set of Jerry Lee Lewis. Besides all the deep classics, this is the first CD release I've seen of the famous "Jerry Lee Lewis and Sam Phillips: Religious Discussion." That alone would be worth most of the price of the set.
