Don Knotts Is Beautiful A couple of weeks ago, I was putting up links around the site to my Don Knotts obituary. Don Knotts 1924 - 2006 One of my most popular pages for some reason is a simple column from last summer called "God Loves Ugly People." Of course it occurred to me while I was putting the link up that Don Knotts might have been called "ugly."
But I recoiled from that immediately. No, no- that's not right. Don Knotts is beautiful. I've pondered on that for a couple of weeks now, and here's my best explanation of my thinking:
