I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

New Album Releases, Week of 10-25-2005 Looking a little thin this week, but I could go for Randy Travis singing gospel, so this new Glory Train collection sounds like it might be worth hearing.
Also, Brian Setzer wants you to Dig That Crazy Christmas. I'm particularly interested in hearing him take a crack at "You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch."
In hits packages this week, there's a Destiny's Child package with two new songs. Also, there's an NSYNC collection what, five years after anyone would care?
There's a new Johnny Cash collection, The Legend of Johnny Cash that is apparently the first career spanning retrospective, which is to say that it includes some American recordings. Really though, a ONE disc set of Johnny just ain't going to be enough but to get you started.
Also of possible interest, a new collection of They Might Be Giants rarities is out this week, They Got Lost.
Finally, I note a newly remastered edition of George Harrison's classic Concert for Bangledesh. However, I note criticisms suggesting that they've managed to "remaster" the backing singers pretty much right out of a lot of this. Doesn't sound real promising to me. I'm happy with the older CD edition. Getting the DVD would sure be nice though.
