I wouldn't want to ask people to just give me money cause they like my website, but do please take a quick look at Barger's Boutique. You might find yourself a little something-something for 2 or 3 bucks that you just can't resist! Any of the round images you find around MoreThings will get you to an Amazon page to buy my stuff and help ol' Al keep the lights on.
Links
To explicitly state the obvious, these external links go to interesting and provocative websites, but they speak for themselves. I don't necessarily agree with anything they say - especially that no-goodnik Richard Marcus.

New album releases, week of 10-5-2004 Rand help me, but I'm real interested in the new William Shatner album, Has Been. In my defense, however, note that the songs are written by Ben Folds. After some years of carrying on about Shatner, this should be the payoff where Ben shows us what the hell it is that he's seen in Kirk.
Far less intriguing, REM is still making records. They've got one this week called Around the Sun. Isn't it about time they gave up this weak crap and pursued solo careers running for Congress and saving the whales or something?
Tom Waits has never made much impression on me, nor do I recall him ever actually having a hit. Nonetheless, his new album Real Gone is rated #2 on the Amazon sales chart.
Like me, you may wish to get Barenaked for the Holidays. The Barenaked Ladies have made a Christmas record. About half of the songs are standards and covers, including the Bob Geldof charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" Originals include the "Elf's Lament." Seems like these would be just the guys to make a really good Christmas record, which is a rarity.
