Pussy Peace Posers Some Brits who had gone to Iraq as volunteer human shields got scared and went home. Apparently they were afraid for their personal safety. Duh!
What a bunch of pussy peace posers with delusions of grandeur. They thought they personally had veto power over the defense policies of not just Britain but the US as well. All they had to do was put their dumb hippy asses in the line of fire, and the free world would simply HAVE to back down from attacking. Upon finding out that the sun does not in fact rise and set in their butt cracks, they fled for their personal safety.
They're a bunch of signifying monkeys, full of big talk but scampering away before the fighting even starts. The word "coward" comes to mind. "Stupid" also comes to mind. "Narcissistic" applies as well. How ignorant and self-absorbed must they have been to think this would even slow US down?
Then there's this criticism from some other "peace" jerks:
Maria Ermanno, chairwoman of the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society, cited reports that Iraqi officials were arranging transportation, accommodations and news conferences for the human shields.
"To go down to Iraq and live and act there on the regime's expense, then you're supporting a terrible dictator. I think that method is entirely wrong," Ermanno told Swedish Radio.
So what, it would be cool if somebody else paid for their hotel bill?
Again, these volunteer human shields should absolutely be targeted when the bombing starts. You want to be a martyr? OK, but you have to die first. This goes for you and your phony baloney new age crap too, Deepak Chopra.
I can't speak to British citizens, but certainly any American who goes to Baghdad playing human shield and then comes home should absolutely be tried for treason. How much more could you do to provide aid and comfort to the enemy than this, other than to absolutely pick up a gun and start shooting at the real Americans when they come swooping in a few days from now?
